About St. Croix Casino Danbury
St. Croix Casino Danbury is a tribal gaming venue at 30222 WI-35 in Danbury, Wisconsin, owned by the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin and operating 24/7 since 2010. The property sits in northwestern Wisconsin near the Minnesota border, roughly 90 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities and accessible via WI-35 through Burnett County. Gaming is regulated by the Wisconsin Department of Administration, Division of Gaming under the state-tribal compact, with a minimum gambling age of 21.
Within the St. Croix Casinos family the Danbury venue is the mid-sized property: smaller than the flagship St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake but considerably more substantial than the convenience-store-style Little Turtle Hertel Express in Webster. The 500-machine slot floor, 10-table pit, and single poker table give Danbury a real table-game presence that visitors will not find at most of the smaller Wisconsin tribal casinos.

Games on the Floor
The dealt-game menu at St. Croix Casino Danbury covers the essentials: blackjack, craps, roulette, and 3 Card Poker across 10 tables, plus a single live poker table running cash games. Craps and roulette are notable here because they are not on the floor at every Wisconsin tribal casino at this scale, and the inclusion makes Danbury one of the better small-property table options in the northwestern corner of the state. The 500-machine slot floor rounds out the offering, with reel and video slot mixes from the major manufacturers.

Amenities and Visit Practicalities
St. Croix Casino Danbury is amenity-rich for a property without an attached hotel. The on-site restaurant runs 24/7, and the property includes a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna that give it an unexpectedly resort-style feel even though hotel rooms are not on the same campus. Self-parking is free and the lot is large enough to absorb weekend volume from Wisconsin and Minnesota residents.

The northwestern Wisconsin table game stop, with pool and sauna in the bargain
St. Croix Casino Danbury is the most underrated mid-sized tribal casino in northwestern Wisconsin. The 10-table pit (with craps and roulette) is the headline, and the spa-style amenities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna) are an oddly luxurious bonus for a property of this scale. For Twin Cities visitors who want a real blackjack or craps room without driving all the way to Mille Lacs or Mystic Lake on the Minnesota side, Danbury is the closer answer.
Location and Regulation
The casino sits at 30222 WI-35 in Danbury with GPS coordinates of 46.008, -92.361, near the St. Croix River corridor that forms the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. The Wisconsin Department of Administration, Division of Gaming oversees the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin compact with the state. Sports wagering is legal at the tribal-compact level in Wisconsin, though St. Croix Casino Danbury does not currently advertise an on-site sportsbook.

Real blackjack and craps in northern Wisconsin
Drove over from St. Paul on a Saturday. Got onto a $10 blackjack table within five minutes and the craps table was running with a friendly stick. The fact that this place has a pool and sauna for guests is bizarre and great. No hotel attached so we drove back same day, but the table experience was easily worth the trip. Way better than I expected for a 500-machine room.
