Flop Poker is a house-banked poker game combining two hole cards with three community flop cards. You make your best five-card hand and get paid against a posted paytable rather than against a dealer hand. The game is a niche specialty at select casinos with diverse game portfolios. You'll find live tables at most major properties. See our full US casino directory for venue contact details and hours.
Flop Poker shares elements with Ultimate Texas Hold'em and Let It Ride. The flop structure is familiar to Hold'em players, but the game is simpler: one decision point and a paytable instead of a dealer comparison. The house edge is moderate and the game is best for casual poker fans.
Place an Ante bet. An optional Bonus bet may be available on your hole cards.
You receive two hole cards face up. Three community cards (the flop) are dealt face down.
After seeing your two hole cards, decide to fold (lose your Ante) or raise with a Play bet.
The flop is revealed. Your best five-card hand from hole cards plus community is formed.
Your hand is paid according to the paytable, starting at a pair of Jacks or better.
The Bonus bet pays on strong hole cards before the flop is revealed.
Flop Poker uses a standard 52-card deck. You place an Ante and receive two hole cards. Three community cards are dealt face down. After seeing your hole cards, fold or raise. The flop is revealed, and your best five-card hand is paid from the paytable: pair of Jacks pays 1:1, two pair 2:1, three of a kind 5:1, straight 10:1, flush 15:1, full house 25:1, four of a kind 50:1, straight flush 100:1, royal flush 500:1. Paytables vary.
The Bonus bet pays on your hole cards: a pair of Jacks pays 3:1, suited Jack-Ten pays 5:1, Ace-King suited pays 10:1. The Bonus bet resolves before the flop and is independent of the main hand.
Flop Poker is a house-banked game combining two hole cards with three community flop cards. You play against a paytable, not a dealer. It is a niche game at select casinos.
Raise with any pair in your hole cards or any two cards Jack or higher.
Fold with unconnected, unsuited low cards with no pair potential.
Check the paytable before sitting. Mid-tier hand payouts vary between casinos.
The Bonus bet carries a higher edge. Treat it as optional entertainment.
Flop Poker rewards patience. Most hands are not worth raising.
The game is a good introduction to house-banked poker before UTH or Mississippi Stud.

Raise with any pair in your hole cards, any two suited cards Jack or higher, or any two unsuited cards King or higher. Fold everything weaker. The raise threshold is lower than UTH because the flop gives you three community cards. A pair of Jacks pays even money, so any hole card combination with a reasonable chance of making Jacks or better is worth raising. Compared to Double Draw Poker and 7 Card Poker, Flop Poker has a simpler one-decision structure.
5-card draw with two draw rounds vs paytable. Sister game with a different mechanic.
Best 5-card hand from 7 dealt cards vs dealer or paytable.
Three bets with two pull-back decisions. Wider availability and easier to find.
Multi-street raise structure vs paytable. More decision points and higher payouts.
