About Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison
Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison is the Ho-Chunk Nation’s gaming venue in Madison, Wisconsin, opened in 1999 at 4002 Evan Acres Rd on the city’s east side. The property runs 24 hours a day and is the largest casino inside Dane County. Gaming is licensed under the Wisconsin Department of Administration, Division of Gaming framework that governs the Ho-Chunk Nation’s compact with the state, with a minimum gambling age of 21. The primary phone is (608) 223-9576 with additional lines at 608-221-8100 and 414-647-6071, and email at Christian.Holst@Ho-Chunk.com or HCGMadison@ho-chunk.com.
Within the Ho-Chunk Gaming network the Madison venue is the second-largest by slot count after Wisconsin Dells, with 1,200 machines on a floor sized for a major metropolitan market. Madison’s role in the network is distinct: this is the high-volume electronic-play property serving the Dane County and southern Wisconsin region, and the floor design reflects that. Social channels are active on Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

Games on the Floor
The gaming menu at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison is electronic-first: 1,200 slot machines paired with video keno and video poker terminals. There are no live table games or a live poker room at this property, which is the main practical difference between Madison and Black River Falls or Wisconsin Dells. The floor design favors a deep mix of denominations and themes, with reel slots, modern video slots, and a meaningful video keno presence that many Ho-Chunk regulars come specifically for.

Amenities and Dining
The amenity stack at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison centers on the grill outlet for fast-cycle dining, valet service in addition to free self-parking, and a 24-hour gaming floor. The property maintains a dining info page and an events calendar that publishes through the website. There is no on-site hotel, which keeps Madison positioned as a day-trip and late-night venue rather than an overnight destination. Detected features include meeting space, a shuttle program, an RV park area, and concert programming through partner venues.

The Ho-Chunk Nation's metro-scale electronic-play venue
Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison is the network's slot-and-video-poker heavyweight, sized for the Dane County market and the 24-hour cycle that comes with it. 1,200 machines is a serious number for a property without an attached hotel, and the valet plus grill setup makes it easy to drop in for a 90-minute session without ceremony. The absence of live table games is the property's headline limitation, but it is also a deliberate part of the network's design. If you live in Madison and you want a casino you can drive to in 15 minutes, this is your room.

My local for ten years
Live on the east side and Ho-Chunk Madison has been my Tuesday night spot for a decade. The floor is huge, video keno is well represented (which is rare), and valet on a winter night is genuinely worth the tip. No blackjack here so I drive up to the Dells once a year for that. Rewards Club cash back actually works if you play consistently. Grill is fine; do not show up expecting a sit-down meal.
