A long-running Yakima card room with a steady local rhythm
Nob Hill Casino has anchored West Nob Hill Boulevard since 2001, first under the Casino Royale name and now under owner Tom Elardi. It is a pit-and-kitchen operation, not a resort, and the 7-table game spread leans into carnival variants Washington card-room regulars know well. If you are planning a Yakima visit and want a relaxed Pai Gow or Spanish 21 session without a long drive, this is the room.

About Nob Hill Casino
Nob Hill Casino sits at 3807 West Nob Hill Boulevard in Yakima, Washington, a commercial card room that opened in 2001 and was previously branded as Casino Royale before the current rebrand under owner Tom Elardi. The property runs as a non-tribal house-banked card room regulated by the Washington State Gambling Commission, with a minimum gambling age of 18. The casino sits on the west side of Yakima off Nob Hill Boulevard, drawing primarily from the Yakima metro area and travelers along I-82.
Compared with the tribal properties scattered across central Washington, Nob Hill plays a different role. There are no slot machines, no hotel, and no large-scale entertainment program. The room concentrates on table game variety in a small footprint, which is the standard pattern for Washington commercial card rooms. For broader Washington context, the Washington casino directory lists the tribal and card-room mix across the state.

Games on the Floor
The 7-table pit at Nob Hill Casino concentrates on house-banked card games rather than dice or wheel games. The spread covers 3 Card Poker, Double Deck Blackjack, Crazy 4 Poker, Progressive Pai Gow Poker, and Spanish 21. There is no craps table and no roulette wheel, which is typical of Washington card rooms under state regulation. There is also no live poker room here, which puts the room squarely in the carnival-variant and blackjack lane.
Games Available
For players who want a classic blackjack session, the double-deck table is the room’s tightest game. For carnival players, Crazy 4 Poker and Progressive Pai Gow Poker run on rotation and the progressive jackpot bet on Pai Gow is the headline side-bet draw. Players coming from larger tribal venues like Legends Casino at Yakima Nation will notice the trade-off: a smaller floor and no slots, but lower table minimums on quiet days. For deeper carnival breakdowns, see our blackjack guide.
Amenities, Hours and Practicalities
Nob Hill Casino is a single-building operation with an on-site restaurant and free self-parking. The amenity list is intentionally short: there is no hotel block, no spa, no event venue. The dining room handles in-session meals and locals use it as an ordinary neighborhood kitchen even without a gaming visit. The property has no on-site sportsbook, though retail sportsbook activity is legal at the state level via tribal compacts elsewhere in Washington.

Location and Regulation
The property sits at GPS coordinates of 46.586, -120.560 on West Nob Hill Boulevard, a few minutes off I-82 in central Yakima. The Washington State Gambling Commission regulates the room as a house-banked card room. Sportsbook wagering is legal in Washington under tribal-retail authority, but Nob Hill itself does not operate a sportsbook. The property’s public-facing channel is its Facebook page rather than a dedicated website.

Nob Hill Casino at a glance
Strengths and gaps based on directory data and the property profile, not a substitute for an in-person visit.
Strengths
4- Long-running Yakima card room operating since 2001
- 7 table games including Crazy 4 Poker, Progressive Pai Gow, Spanish 21
- On-site restaurant, free self-parking
- Minimum age 18, lower than most Nevada-style commercial casinos
Watch-outs
4- No slot machines (card-room license only)
- No live poker room and no craps or roulette
- No attached hotel or large entertainment program
- Limited promotional calendar versus the larger tribal venues
Solid local card room
Been coming here since the Casino Royale days. The Pai Gow progressive is the reason I drop in on Friday nights and the double-deck blackjack table is usually open with reasonable minimums. Restaurant is fine, nothing fancy. If you want slots or a poker room you have to drive elsewhere, but for a quick carnival session in Yakima it works.
