What Lucky Dragonz Used to Spread

When operational, the room’s draw was its niche game mix. Limit Hold’em and Omaha 8 or Better are increasingly rare in the post-No-Limit era, and Lucky Dragonz catered to a small but dedicated low-stakes split-pot crowd from the South Seattle and Renton commuter zone. The 6-table count kept the room intimate and meant action concentrated on whichever two or three tables had a waitlist on a given night.

Games Available

  • Limit Holdem
  • Omaha 8 or Better

Amenity-wise the property listed a restaurant and self-parking, which were the standard fixtures expected of small Washington card rooms.

Location and Records

Felt like a local game when it was open

Played here a handful of times when I lived in Skyway. The room was small, the dealers knew everyone by name, and the Omaha 8 game ran on weekends, which I could not find anywhere else nearby. Not glamorous, but it was my kind of place. Sad to see it gone.
