About Northern Quest Casino
Northern Quest Casino opened in 2000 at 100 N Hayford Road in Airway Heights, Washington, owned and operated by the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. The property anchors gaming in the Spokane metropolitan area and is one of the three largest tribal resort destinations in the state alongside Tulalip Resort Casino and Little Creek Casino and Resort. Operations sit under the Washington State Gambling Commission compact framework, with a minimum gambling age of 18.
The casino sits roughly ten miles west of downtown Spokane on US-2, easily reached from Spokane International Airport. The 1,650-machine slot floor, 37 dealt tables, and 9-table poker room make Northern Quest the largest gaming destination in eastern Washington, with the closest peer-scale resort (Coeur d’Alene Casino in Idaho) about 35 minutes east across the state line.

Games on the Floor
The Northern Quest pit is one of the deepest in eastern Washington. The 37 dealt tables cover blackjack, Spanish 21, craps, roulette, EZ Pai Gow, 3 Card Poker, Chase the Flash, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The 1,650 slot machines span penny to high-limit denominations with progressive networks across the newer titles, and the floor maintains a Players Club booth at the main entrance.
The pit volume puts Northern Quest above all but Tulalip among Washington tribal venues, and the carnival mix (Chase the Flash, EZ Pai Gow, Spanish 21, Ultimate Texas Hold’em) is broader than what most regional commercial casinos can match. For a sense of how the floor stacks against the broader Washington casinos directory, the property sits in the top tier on every dealt-table count and ranks third in machine total behind Tulalip and Muckleshoot.
Game spread at Northern Quest
The floor splits cleanly into pit games, carnival variants, poker, and machines.
Standard pit games run across the main block.
Side-bet heavy carnival variants.
9 tables, the deepest dealt poker room in eastern Washington.
1,650 machines plus off-track betting.

Poker Room and Off-Track Betting
The 9-table poker room is a signature feature. No Limit Hold’em runs as the main cash spread with multiple stake levels and a weekly tournament schedule, and Omaha 8 or Better fills mixed-game demand. The room is the eastern Washington counterpart to the Tulalip and Muckleshoot dealt poker rooms on the west side of the Cascades, and is the closest meaningful pit for players in Coeur d’Alene, Pullman, and the Spokane Valley. The integrated off-track betting parlor handles pari-mutuel horse wagering on Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup race days, alongside daily racing programs. The poker rooms guide tracks Northern Quest among the top dealt rooms in the Pacific Northwest.
Resort, Dining, and Concerts
The resort hotel sits adjacent to the gaming floor with a connected layout that runs from rooms through lobby into the casino floor without a step outside. The pool, spa, fitness center, multiple restaurants, valet, and self-parking carry the resort end of the property, and the on-site concert venue regularly hosts national touring acts (rock, country, comedy, tribute shows). RV parking is offered and the kennel facility is unusual among regional resorts. The casino is open 24/7.

The Spokane corridor's flagship resort
Northern Quest is the eastern Washington equivalent to Tulalip on the I-5 corridor. A 1,650-machine floor with 37 dealt tables and a 9-table poker room puts it in the top tier statewide, and the integrated resort hotel, Pend Oreille Pavilion, BECU Live outdoor stage, and OTB parlor make it a destination property rather than a day-trip stop. For Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and Tri-Cities visitors, this is the default weekend booking.
Best resort in eastern Washington, full stop
Booked the hotel for a Saturday concert at the Pavilion. Walked from the room to dinner to the show to the floor without going outside. Poker room had four tables of $1/$2 running and one $2/$5. Spanish 21 was lively. OTB was running for Derby prep. Camas Rewards earn rate is solid. Pool and spa were a clean way to spend Sunday morning before driving back to town. Only knock is parking gets tight on big show nights but the valet line moves fast.
