About Little Creek Casino and Resort

Little Creek Casino and Resort opened in 1995 at 91 WA-108 in Shelton, Washington, owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe. The property has expanded steadily for three decades, growing from a modest tribal floor into a full-service resort with golf, spa, RV park, nightclub, meeting space, and integrated lodging. It is one of three major destinations across the south Puget Sound (the other peers being Nisqually Red Wind Casino and the Olympic Peninsula 7 Cedars Casino) and the easiest resort-style gaming trip from Olympia.

Gaming is regulated by the Washington State Gambling Commission under the state-tribal compact, and the minimum gambling age is 18. The 1,200-slot floor and 25 dealt tables make the casino a meaningful pit for the region, and bingo, pull tabs, and electronic roulette extend the floor mix beyond a typical tribal-resort spread.

Game Spread on the Floor

Little Creek leans into game variety more than raw count. The 25 dealt tables include blackjack, Spanish 21, craps, electronic roulette and standard roulette, Emperor’s Challenge Pai Gow Poker, Crazy 4 Poker, Royal Match 21, Lucky Ladies blackjack side bets, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Bingo runs in the dedicated hall on a posted schedule, and pull tabs operate alongside slots for low-stakes lottery-style play. The slot floor (1,200 machines) covers penny reels through high-limit video poker, with newer titles refreshed regularly.

For visitors planning across the state, Little Creek pairs well with the Washington tribal casinos directory for a multi-property weekend (Tulalip north, Little Creek south, Northern Quest east).

The 6-table poker room is the main draw for cash-game regulars from Olympia and Tacoma. No Limit Hold’em runs nightly at $1/$2 and $2/$5 levels when interest supports it, and a small weekend tournament calendar covers Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Spread Limit Hold’em provides a low-variance option and Omaha 8 or Better runs on request. The dedicated bingo hall holds scheduled sessions with sizable prize pools, and a retail sportsbook operates on tribal authority under the Squaxin compact. Sports wagering across the state runs through tribal venues only, with no statewide mobile in Washington as of writing. The poker rooms guide and the broader card rooms directory place Little Creek among the deeper mid-sized rooms in the state.

Resort, Golf, and Amenities

Little Creek’s resort layer is the property’s biggest differentiator against peers. The on-site hotel offers full lodging with pool, fitness center, and spa access included for guests. Salish Cliffs Golf Club, a championship 18-hole course on tribal land, sits a short shuttle from the casino and ranks among the better resort courses in western Washington. The Starlight Lounge, the property’s cigar and rewards lounge, anchors evening entertainment alongside a nightclub. RV park hookups, meeting space, multiple restaurants, retail, and valet service round out the resort.

South sound's best weekend casino

Booked a Friday and Saturday at the resort and played golf at Salish Cliffs on Saturday afternoon. Course was in great shape. The poker room had two $1/$2 tables going both nights and the Spanish 21 pit was active. Resort breakfast was strong. Sportsbook was open for the NBA playoffs which was a nice bonus. Whole property has the feel of a real resort, not just a casino with rooms attached. Will rebook.
