About Lucky Dog Casino
Lucky Dog Casino is a Skokomish Tribe gaming property at 19330 U.S. 101 in the Skokomish/Potlatch area of Mason County, Washington, opened in 2001. The casino sits at the southern end of the Hood Canal between Olympia and Shelton, drawing travelers along the busy US-101 corridor that loops the Olympic Peninsula. The Washington State Gambling Commission regulates Class III gaming under the Skokomish tribal compact, with a minimum age of 21 to enter the gaming floor.
The property has a focused operating model: a 260-machine slot floor, an on-site restaurant, the Club Lucky players program, and a steady rotation of promotions tied to the membership program. There is no on-site hotel and no live table games. For a fuller tribal floor with table games on the same Hood Canal corridor, Little Creek Casino & Resort in Shelton is the nearer alternative.

A reliable Hood Canal slot stop with a loyalty program that earns its keep
Lucky Dog Casino is the textbook small-tribal-floor model: a single product (slots), a tight player loyalty program, and an on-site restaurant. The Skokomish Tribe has run it consistently since 2001, and the property does what it promises. If you live in Mason County or are doing the Olympic Peninsula loop along US-101, this is the natural slot stop. If you want table games or a hotel night, drive 20 minutes south to Little Creek.
Amenities and Visit Practicalities
The on-site restaurant runs as part of the casino building, and the directory captures dining info on the property website. Self-parking is free with ample lot space. There is no hotel attached, so overnight visitors typically book lodging in Shelton 20 minutes south or in Hoodsport just north along the canal. The website is reachable at myluckydogcasino.com and currently returns as healthy.

My regular slot stop on the canal
Drive up from Shelton a couple times a month. The Club Lucky points add up fast if you play even a few hours a week. Restaurant is no-nonsense diner food, exactly what you want after a long slot session. No table games is the only knock, but for slots-only, this is my favorite room on the west side.
