About Nooksack Northwood Casino
Nooksack Northwood Casino was the Nooksack Indian Tribe’s gaming property at 9750 Northwood Road in Lynden, Washington, opened in 2007 and operating for roughly a decade and a half before closure. The casino served as the closest sizeable tribal gaming floor for Whatcom County residents and for Canadian visitors crossing the border from Abbotsford or Surrey. The Washington State Gambling Commission regulated Class III gaming under the Nooksack tribal compact.
At its operating peak the floor carried 475 gaming machines, an on-site buffet and restaurant, and the Northwood Casino Email Rewards loyalty channel. Detected features included spa, golf, sportsbook, and ADA accessibility, which placed it in the mid-sized Washington tribal property tier alongside Silver Reef Casino in Ferndale and Skagit Valley Casino to the south.

Was a solid local option when it was open
Drove here from Lynden plenty of times when it was running. Floor was a good size, buffet was hit or miss but the slot variety was strong for a property of this scale. Sad to see it closed. Now we drive down to Silver Reef instead, which is a longer trip but worth it for the bigger floor.
