About Okanogan Casino and Bingo

Okanogan Casino and Bingo opened in 2003 at 41 Apple Way Rd in Okanogan, Washington, the small county seat in north-central Okanogan County. The property was operated by Harriet Ganson and was licensed by the Washington State Gambling Commission. The minimum gambling age was 18. The property is now closed.

When active, the room covered about 450 gaming machines, an in-house bingo program, video poker, and a 2-table poker room. It served as a local-first gaming option for residents of the Okanogan, Omak, Brewster, and Twisp corridor rather than a tourist destination. The closest active replacement gaming venues sit in the Omak casinos directory and around Manson and Brewster on the Colville Reservation.

Former Gaming Floor

The historical floor mix was concentrated on machines and bingo. Bingo was a meaningful draw — relatively rare in the size of room Okanogan Casino operated — and the 2-table poker room spread Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em, and Spread Limit Hold’em when there was demand. There were no table-pit games beyond video poker.

A community room that is now gone

Used to swing into Okanogan Casino on the drive home from Wenatchee for bingo and a sandwich. Slot floor was modest, but the bingo crowd was the real draw. Sad to see it closed. For the same corridor, 12 Tribes in Omak is the active option now.
