From Houston, take US-59 / I-69 north to Livingston, then State Park Road 56 east toward Lake Tombigbee. The drive runs about 90 minutes from central Houston without traffic, longer on summer Friday afternoons. From Beaumont, plan on around an hour and forty minutes via US-69 and US-190. From Lufkin and Nacogdoches, the property is roughly an hour south.

Self-parking is available on site, as is a valet service for guests who would rather hand over the keys. There is no public-transit option from Houston or the surrounding cities; visitors arrive by car or rideshare. For overnight stays, accommodation is in Livingston itself, chain hotels along US-59, or further out at the on-reservation Lake Tombigbee Campground for camping visitors. The property itself is a day-trip venue; lodging at the casino is not offered.

Naskila Gaming is owned and operated by the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas, a federally recognized tribe whose Polk County reservation is one of the oldest continuously occupied Indigenous land bases in the state. The Alabama and Coushatta peoples are historically distinct nations who merged onto a shared reservation in East Texas in the mid-19th century. The tribe was federally recognized through a separate process from the older recognized Texas tribes and re-confirmed under federal law in the 1980s.

Casino revenue funds tribal government services, education, health programmes, and infrastructure on the reservation, in line with the standard funding model for federally recognized tribal gaming. The current venue’s 2016 opening followed a roughly fifteen-year gap in tribal electronic gaming at the site, and the legal regime under which the property now operates was substantially reinforced by the 2022 US Supreme Court ruling in Ysleta del Sur Pueblo v. Texas.
