Kings Club Casino in Brimley, Michigan

Brimley is in Chippewa County in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan, approximately 15 miles south of Sault Sainte Marie via Bay Mills Road. The Bay Mills Indian Community’s reservation in Brimley occupies land near the Point Iroquois area of Lake Superior’s eastern shoreline. The 1984 opening makes Kings Club Casino one of the earliest tribal gaming operations in the US — the Bay Mills Community’s gaming activities in the early 1980s were part of the legal landscape that ultimately led to IGRA’s passage in 1988.

The Bay Mills Indian Community also operates the larger Bay Mills Resort & Casino in Brimley — Kings Club Casino is the companion smaller property.
