Oxon Hill is in Prince George’s County in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC, at the National Harbor waterfront development on the Potomac River. The MGM National Avenue address is at the heart of National Harbor — a mixed-use retail, dining, entertainment, and hotel development on the Maryland side of the Potomac, approximately 7 miles south of the US Capitol via the Capital Beltway (I-495). MGM National Harbor is the closest major commercial casino to Washington DC, serving a metropolitan area of approximately 6 million residents.
MGM Resorts International operates MGM National Harbor as the company’s Washington DC-area destination resort property, part of a national portfolio that includes MGM Grand (Las Vegas), Bellagio (Las Vegas), and multiple other major resort properties. MGM Growth Properties holds the real estate investment trust structure that owns the physical assets under a master lease to MGM Resorts.

Poker Room: 5 Card Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha, and 46 Tables
MGM National Harbor’s 46-table poker room spreads 5 Card Omaha, 5 Card Omaha Hi-Lo, Limit Hold’em, NL Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and Tournaments — one of the most format-diverse poker rooms in the Mid-Atlantic.
5 Card Omaha is an Omaha variant in which each player receives five hole cards rather than the standard four — while still using exactly two hole cards alongside three community cards to form the best five-card hand. The additional hole card creates substantially larger potential hand combinations, significantly larger average pots, and more complex strategic decisions compared to standard four-card Omaha. 5 Card Omaha Hi-Lo applies the same five-hole-card structure to the split-pot hi-lo format. Both 5 Card Omaha formats are rare in US commercial poker rooms — MGM National Harbor is one of the very few venues on the East Coast where these formats are regularly available. At 46 tables, the room is large enough to run all formats simultaneously.
Table Games
MGM National Harbor’s 140 table game positions include Blackjack, Craps, Electronic Keno, Electronic Roulette, Four Card Poker, Let It Ride, Midi-Baccarat, Roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and Video Poker, alongside 2,800 slot machines.
