About The Players Club
The Players Club sits at 6580 Auto Center Drive in Ventura, California — a coastal city roughly an hour north of Los Angeles via the US-101. The property opened in 2011 and operates as a licensed California card room under the California Gambling Control Commission / Bureau of Gambling Control with a 21+ minimum age. The venue runs 24/7 and maintains an active web presence at pcventura.com with social channels on Facebook and Instagram.
The property carries a LOW data-confidence designation in our directory — field-level information is thinner than for some regional card rooms. The phone at (805) 643-1392 is active, the property runs an on-site restaurant and self-parking, and the card room is smoke-free and ADA-accessible. No hotel is attached — the Ventura Auto Center corridor along the 101 has chain lodging within a few blocks for overnight players.

Table games
The floor carries three table game formats — a compact spread that covers the core card-room bases on 22 tables.
Table games on the floor
EZ Baccarat is the action leader — the commission-free banker-win format speeds the game compared to standard baccarat and keeps the Asian-facing table-game action moving. Progressive 3-Card Poker adds a progressive jackpot side bet that links across the room, and blackjack runs standard California-rules with a third-party banker covering settlement. Like every California card room, the house cannot bank the action on any table — the player-banked model governs every hand.
The venue does not carry slot machines, video poker, or electronic keno — it is a pure card-room floor.
Poker room
The poker room is The Players Club’s anchor feature — 14 tables running four variants: Big O, NL Holdem, Pan Poker (Panguingue), and tournaments. This is one of the more distinctive poker lineups in Ventura County.
Big O is a five-card Omaha Hi-Lo format — each player receives five hole cards instead of the standard four, with the same eight-or-better low qualifier for the split-pot. The extra hole card produces significantly more action per hand and larger swings than standard Omaha Hi-Lo. Big O developed a strong following in Southern California card rooms and is most concentrated in the LA-Ventura corridor.
Pan Poker (Panguingue) is the historical deep cut — a rummy-style card game played with up to eight standard decks dealt in stacks of ten. Pan has roots in Filipino-American card-room culture and is one of the few California-legal formats that traces its lineage to social gambling rather than casino gaming. Most states do not license Pan; The Players Club is one of the Ventura card rooms where it still runs.
NL Holdem is the volume cash-game leader and runs most nights. Tournaments run on a scheduled rotation — check the Facebook and Instagram pages or call (805) 643-1392 for the current tournament calendar before a dedicated poker trip.

Big O, Pan Poker, and tournaments in a 2011-vintage card room
The Players Club is the only card room listed in Ventura. The poker room's lineup — Big O five-card Omaha, Pan Poker Panguingue, NL Holdem, and tournaments — is one of the more distinctive in Southern California outside of the Commerce and Bicycle rooms. The low data confidence flag means you should call ahead for the tournament schedule, but for Ventura County players who want action beyond standard Hold'em, this is the local stop.
