The Brass Ass is Cripple Creek’s oldest casino. Located inside two of the city’s original buildings, The Brass Ass has street scene decor, including street lamps, a hotdog stand, and the first lighted sign in Cripple Creek from H. H. Rosser’s pool hall. The casino is named after the brass ass in their window… one of the original brass donkey’s which launched boats with a well-placed kick at the 1893 World Exposition in Chicago.
They provide their patrons with Free popcorn and hot dogs and drinks (non-alcoholic).
